2. Attention to detail
In this step, you will find the components contributing to the problem. When observing a correlation within the problem or the root of the problem, you will begin to find some important information. For example, background knowledge, skills, or processes that students already have to solve the question.
3. Uncovering discovery
Active research and thoughtful teaching are the foundations of discovery. Students investigate existing solutions and find out what does not work during the process. As a teacher, you may utilise this stage to assess any skills the students may lack and complement further teaching with this information.
4. Application of results
The fun begins here! Students can start to develop their own solutions to the problem after they have delved deeply into it and have analysed current solutions. This is where they use the knowledge, procedures, and skills they learned during the discovery stage.
5. Presentation of perspective
Pupils then have to present the solution they came up with, allowing them to express their own unique viewpoint. On top of that, it’s important that the work is presented for review, as it encourages feedback and teaches kids how to receive and offer input.
6. Linking and evaluation
Finally, the loop is closed at this step. Students are given the chance to evaluate their own processes and skills. Students are encouraged to revise their work as necessary and come up with a better answer.

These simulations are available and can be run online or downloaded to a computer, enabling these resources to be free to all students and teachers!

The simulations are highly interactive where students can change settings to get immediate feedback of that effect.
