Term 1 - Mini BioChem Explorer

Week 1-4 (Sep 2-Sep 27)

Little STEAM Artist

Young scientists will explore the vibrant world of dyes and colours, uncover the mysteries of oil and water, understand the magic of soap, and learn the chemistry of fats and soap through fun, hands-on experiments. Ignite their creativity and curiosity in every session!

Week 5-8 (Sep 30-Oct 25)

Little Doctor

Our little doctor will DIY their stethoscope and the human body apron to understand our body organ. The dish washer and pepper sterilizing experiment can also let our little doctors understand the importance of hygiene.

Week 9-12 (Oct 28-Nov 22)

Little Chemist

Students can conduct a colour test using test tubes and create a lemon volcano. They can also experiment with saltwater to test density and have the opportunity to perform the M&M diffusion test.

Term 2 - Mini Space Explorer

Week 13-16 (Dec 2-Jan 17)

Little Geologist

Embark on a geological adventure with the Little Geologist theme, where students will dig into the Earth's layers and crust, explore oceans and sea creatures, study the sky and atmosphere, and journey through outer space.

Week 17-20 (Jan 20-Feb 21)

Little Gardener

Delve into the world of horticulture with the Little Gardener theme, where students will sow seeds with flowers, nurture plants and trees, harvest fruits and vegetables, and learn about essential gardening tools.

Week 21-24 (Feb 24-Mar 21)

Little Astronaut

Embark on a cosmic journey with the Little Astronaut theme, where students will discover the Earth and Moon, explore the Sun, delve into the Solar System, and study the stars.

BioChem Adventurer

Week 1-4 (Sep 2-Sep 27)

Material Battle

Young scientists will explore how density influences whether objects sink or float in water. They will also learn how mixing and separating water can generate heat and alter its temperature.

Week 5-8 (Sep 30-Oct 25)

Five Senses

Students will create their own touch hand model to explore the sense of touch. Also, they will craft an emoji, teeth model, and jump rope to learn about the other senses.

Week 9-12 (Oct 28-Nov 22)

Chemistry Wonders

When a metal reacts with an acid, it can create a neutralisation reaction. Understanding the concept of density is crucial in science experiments. By combining these elements, students can explore the fascinating world of tie-dye techniques.

Nature Adventurer

Week 13-16 (Dec 2-Jan 17)

Evolution of Life Ecology

Explore the evolutionary journey in life ecology through the lens of science. Dive into topics like fossils and paleontology, the evolution during the ice age, animal classification, and the impact of endangered and extinct species. By linking these concepts, students will unravel the fascinating world of ecology.

Week 17-20 (Jan 20-Feb 21)

Weather & Climate

Embark on a journey through weather and climate science, where students will witness the magic of scientific phenomena. Engage in activities such as creating shaving cream rain, simulating a snowstorm in an orb, constructing a wind vane, and observing a tornado in a jar.

Week 21-24 (Feb 24-Mar 21)

Marine Biology

Uncover the secrets of marine biology as students delve into the depths of oceanic wonders. Engage in activities such as exploring the mysterious ocean, growing coral crystals, crafting an angler fish model, and studying fish and sharks. By intertwining these fundamental scientific principles, students will venture into the captivating world of marine biology.

Harry loves Big Bang's box set experiments, videos, and classes. He asked why he couldn't have classes weekly instead of bi-weekly. He also applies what he has learned in daily life. He told me that a rectangular column has better loading ability than a prism shape after the "engineering workshop," and that's why we always see cylindrical columns. It's great to see Harry's enthusiasm for learning.
