What is Gifted Science Ability Test (GSAT)?

Gifted Science Ability Test (GSAT) is designed by researchers from University of Cambridge.

This test will be examining: Scientific Knowledge, Scientific Thinking and Scientific Enthusiasm.

Distinction - 75% or above
Merit - 65% or above
Pass - 50% or above

Students who have taken the test come from St. Paul's Co-ed, DGS, Harrow, ISF, and other top schools.

Only top 5% scorers in GSAT will be selected to Project Alpha.

What is Project Alpha?

Project Alpha is the flagship program of Big Bang Academy. Every cohort, Big Bang Academy assesses and selects the 200 future science leaders to join our 6-month accelerated programme, with the aim to nurture the next generation of scientists, inventors and leaders. 

Project Alpha comprises of a series of international curriculum-aligned lessons, hands-on experiment projects, monthly special workshops, students exhibitions and a final presentation. It utilises a fully immersive hybrid learning model to train students’ 21st century skills such as leadership, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication.
